Growing up I remember hearing about the Old Port in Portland. Usually for business or community events, but I don’t recall ever going there. It was in the beginning of December 2014 when I ventured down that way for the first time. I wanted to go see the love locks that the arts community started a few years ago. I remember walking around this old neighborhood for the first time, the feeling being next to Casco Bay, the open air and the feeling that this neighborhood once had an importance in the trade industry.
I took this photo randomly while I was walking back to the parking garage that I parked in. The sun was setting and the Old Port had a special soon to be winter glow.
