I was looking for places around Norwalk to venture to during one of my trips in November. I was sitting in Cranbury Park when I googled things to do in the area and Weir Farm came up. It wasn’t too far from where I was at and decided to go. It’s in Ridgefield and Wilton. I went and walked around the grounds for a bit. It as late afternoon and I didn’t want to be out there while it was getting dark. What I did find out about this property is that its an artist colony and was once the home of American impressionist painter, J. Alden Weir.
I would like to go back in the fall, the scenery will be amazing!
