A year ago I went to the Small Business Breakfast in Tarrytown, New York. I wanted to listen to Ari Fleischer speak. (I mean when do you get the opportunity to listen to a former Press Secretary speak!). I went and saw what the Small Business Breakfast was all about. It was a great experience seeing listening to what other small businesses were going through. Listening to their thoughts and concerns. Walking out, I never thought I would be able to be apart of one.
Flash forward to January of this year when I got a call from my ad rep with WCBS asking me if wanted to be apart of the Small Business Breakfast, I couldn’t say no. I haven’t put Victory Designs in an event like this before. I knew what to expect, but I also didn’t know what to expect. I couldn’t remember what other companies has tables at the Small Business Breakfast I was at last year. I did everything I could, made a bunch of new flyers, ordered two types of post cards, one showing everything we do and the other as a larger business card for photography services and showing my photography work. I ordered the table cloth and hoped for the best.
I don’t think my table had more then a 5 minute break at any given time. After speaking to other small businesses from different all different parts of the NYC metro area, listening to their needs, if it was graphic design, photography or web. I felt like I was at the right place at the right time.
I’m very blessed to be part of this amazing event and cant’ wait to do it again
I apologize for the horrible shots, these were taken quickly and on my phone.
