2017: The year that was

2017,  was the year of growth.

I was busy this year with things behind the scene. But was able to be apart of all aspects of a business owner including, networking, photographing, designing, selling and having some time to adventure to new places.

Our old website went down when I changed servers. It took months to rebuild it from scratch. Two years of building was lost in the matter of seconds. And it took about 2 months to get it back to where I had it. I was working a day job that didn’t allow me to focus on it daily. Eventually I got caught up with entires and design.

I went to WCBS 880 Small Business breakfast in Tarrytown in March. Met with a few small business owners. Listened to the Hudson Valley business market and projections, issues that other small business owners have. Listened to Ari Fleischer speak as a guest speaker. Photographed new and exciting places like Southern Connecticut, Las Vegas, Valley of Fire, new spots in New York City. And going back to the same places like the Dempsey Challenge in Maine, spending the day in Newburgh and the Hudson Valley in June, Brooklyn, Midtown Manhattan. And falling in love with some new areas like Norwalk, Westport and Stamford, Connecticut. We had our most liked photo on instagram with over 300 likes in 3 hours. We had a handful of new clients find us via word of mouth. Sales at the stores grew, groupons were redeemed, photo-ventures were written, and I was happy with the outcome of 2017.

I am so excited to start 2018, very excited to see how we grow in 2018. Please stop by and see what is going on here with future projects and photographs on social media.

I owe a big thank you as a client, a buyer or just a reader on here. With out you, I wouldn’t be where I am today!
